We are a bunch of students from ages 13 to 16 at Yule Brook College in Maddington, a suburb of Perth, capital city of Western Australia. Together with the staff at our school and mentors from outisde of school, we like to make things to learn.
In 2017, we restored an old abandoned automotive workshop and an office space into our Makerspace - a space with tools and materials where people gather to design, invent, make and learn by doing. We have a 'dry' room where we work on many things from robots, engineering, Lego, music, craft, textiles and more. We also have the workshop part for pulling things apart, making and fixing bikes, building structures and more. We are a Big Picture inspired school. Our Makerspace fits perfectly with the philosophy of finding and pursuing your interests to learn about the world and yourself. To your right you can see the Twitter feed of latest updates and photos from our Makerspace and our projects. Check out the full range of what we are currently working on at our Projects page.
